Designing Experiences to Solve Problems

I love complicated, wicked problems.

It's why I studied Environmental Sciences and why I joined the Peace Corps.

Often, however, I saw that the most successful solutions were those designed around a user's experience. I grew curious about user centered design, and of the role of technology as mediator.

After an introduction to Design Thinking at the Nueva School, I dedicated my career to the design of technology that empowers users. By leveraging an interdisciplinary professional background, and a Master's Degree in Human Computer Interaction, I help teams recognize, interpret, and build upon the many layers of their context.

I am currently taking small freelance projects and will be looking for full-time employment after graduation in May of 2019.
